Angela Holloway is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She lives in Southern California and has a private practice in Rancho Cucamonga. She is the author of The Bipolar Bear Family: When a Parent Has Bipolar Disorder. Her areas of expertise are Severe Mental Illness in the Family System and Mood Disorders. However, she also works with a wide range of issues including ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, and Relationship Issues for adults and children.

Angela holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from California Baptist College and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, and most recently worked as a consultant for a large, 120-bed locked psychiatric hospital.

Angela has been a freelance writer since 1996, starting as a contributing writer for The Business Journal. She also taught as an adjunct professor for California Baptist University’s School of Behavioral Science.
